Women’s Trip

Kids Alive International is committed to rescuing minor victims of heart-breaking abuse and showing them their inherent worth and potential. They are driven by the belief that every child, no matter their challenges, is cherished by God. Inspired by Isaiah 1:17, they seek justice for these children, empowering them for a brighter future, and working for positive change in their communities.  In Guatemala, Kids Alive runs Oasis, a home that provides a safe haven for Guatemalan girls who have experienced sexual abuse. While serving at Oasis, women will lead a retreat for the female caretakers and staff, as well as participate in select activities with the girls in the home.

Join us as we experience firsthand the impact of the PEB in Pakistan. We will visit schools, experience the culture and history of Lahore, and learn about PEB’s mission to educate poor children who don’t have access to a quality education, especially girls and Christians, in a nation with one of the lowest percentages of children in school in the world.

Travel to the town of Chitipa in northern Malawi where we will help lead and participate in a week-long camp for our sponsored students (high school, tech, & college). On our vision day, we will visit one of our many projects in Malawi such as a rural school to see a finished dorm, a solar project providing electricity, and/or a water project, etc. We will also have an opportunity to enjoy the landscape of this beautiful country and engage with the people of this “warm heart of Africa.”

An optional add-on for a 3-day Safari is being considered.

Young Adults / Adults

Join us on a trip to Cuba to visit our partners, Matanzas Central Presbyterian Church and Evangelical Theological Seminary. Our focus will be building relationships with our partner as we learn about and engage in the different ministries they provide to their congregation and community. Some of these include their Student Youth program (high school & college), a Women’s Ministry which includes sewing and making jewelry, an Arts and Music program for children with special needs, and their Feeding Seniors in Need program. We will assist with projects as needed. We will spend some time learning about the seminary where we will be staying. We will also have a day to tour and see Havana.
