Ginny is the Senior Generosity Director. In this role, she works across all ministries to build a strong foundation of faithful givers of time, talent, and treasures who are essential to raising generous and servant hearts in our congregation.
An Atlanta native, Ginny grew up at Peachtree Church as a 3rd generation member—her grandparents joined in 1961, her parents were married by Dr. Harrington who also baptized and confirmed Ginny and her sister. She graduated from Vanderbilt University where she received her undergraduate and master’s degrees.
Following graduate school, Ginny returned to Atlanta where she served as the Director of Development for the Southeastern Flower Show (Southeastern Horticultural Society) before working with law firms Sutherland Asbill & Brennan and Meyer Closings. The call to return to the non-profit world was strong and in 2010, she accepted a position with the Atlanta Day Shelter for Women and Children, ultimately becoming the Executive Director. In 2014, Ginny joined the Mission Ministry team at Peachtree, later transitioning to the Senior Generosity Director.
Ginny remains passionate about serving the community. She has been involved with numerous organizations and held a variety of leadership and Board roles in the Atlanta community including: the Junior League of Atlanta where she was the AJLI Conference Chair, Vice President of Fund Development, and a Member of the Endowment Fund Committee. If not volunteering, you can find Ginny doting upon her nieces, Coble and Reagan, or enjoying time with family and friends.
