Rev. Chuck Roberts serves as the Senior Associate Pastor. He oversees Peachtree’s worship life, directs the pastoral care staff to properly care for the congregation, and leads IRONMEN, the church’s men’s ministry.
Chuck received his bachelor’s degree in history from Arkansas State University. Having been involved in sports most of his life, he contemplated coaching, but sensed a call to ministry and pursued that through Columbia Theological Seminary, from which he earned two master’s degrees (a doctorate came later from McCormick Seminary in Chicago). Over the years, Chuck has served churches in Augusta, Georgia; Greenville, South Carolina; and Pascagoula, Mississippi. He came to serve Peachtree for the second time in 2005, having been the Minister to Singles from 1989–1995.
When not at the church, Chuck can be found covered in sawdust working on projects at home or on his bike around Buckhead or on the Silver Comet Trail. He and his wife Lib have two daughters, Anne and Kathryn, as well as one grandson.
