Peachtree continues to step up in dramatic ways to serve in our community and around the world. You can help by sponsoring students in India and Malawi, helping to distribute much-needed food to local families, or tutoring students online. Please consider participating in one or all of the following opportunities.

Food Distribution for Urban Recipe

Our long-term friend and partner, Urban Recipe, is continuing to operate co-ops and support hundreds of additional families in the midst of Covid-19.

We are continuing to join in their packing and distributing efforts for families like our friends at Lake Forest Elementary! Volunteer needs are limited to 6 healthy people each shift at their warehouse. We will be socially distancing and wearing masks.

Online Tutoring for LaAmistad

LaAmistad, which simply means “the friendship,” is the premier organization serving Latinos in Atlanta. With an environment constructed around the premise of friendships and relationships, we foster educational excellence and help our students, parents, and families to achieve a better quality of life.

Show your love and support for students who need your help by volunteering in LaAmistad Afterschool's new virtual platform this fall!

Habitat for Humanity Food Drive

Peachtree Church is sponsoring our 157th Habitat for Humanity build this Spring. At this time, Habitat is not open to volunteers on the build, so our home will be constructed using contractors. While we are unable to don our hardhats and wield our hammers on this home, we are able to serve the Habitat families in a different way. We invite you to be a part of a special serving project to provide food kits for Habitat families who are struggling financially due to the loss of income/jobs because of Covid-19.
